Green Fingers and Growing Minds: Planting Workshops with Gower College

Room 2 Grow was thrilled to collaborate with Gower College for a series of interactive planting workshops aimed at fostering a love for nature and sustainability.

These sessions brought together students and members of the community to learn more about plant care, sustainable gardening, and the importance of green spaces. Participants got hands-on experience with planting, learning about different species, soil health, and the impact nurturing plants has on the environment. 

The workshops also highlighted the benefits of gardening for mental well-being, teamwork, and skill development. The enthusiasm and engagement from attendees was truly inspiring, and the workshops served as a fantastic way to connect people with nature while encouraging a greener future, for those who otherwise may not have these opportunities. We are excited about further collaborations that continue to inspire and educate through practical environmental activities.
